What is Pelvic Floor Therapy
- Pelvic floor therapy is conservative non-surgical approach to treating pelvic floor conditions, provided by a licensed physical or occupational therapist with specialized training.
- Pelvic floor PT isn’t so different from what you’d expect at a PT session for your shoulder or knee… we will still look at strength, range of motion, coordination, and movement patterns, as it relates to your symptoms.
- A thorough intake and evaluation will be conducted, similar to an evaluation for any other body part or injury
